Inclusion Criteria
- •age \> 18 years
- •gastrointestinal cancer
Exclusion Criteria
- •previous venous thromboembolism
- •Preoperative DVT
- •Coadministration of anticoagulant medication
- •rivaroxaban drug allergy
- •active clinical bleeding
- •poor renal function (GFR \< 30\)
- •impair liver function (Child\-Pugh B and C)
- •History of heparin induced thrombocytopenia
