Inclusion Criteria
1) Patients diagnosed with cancer within one month of the study
2) Primary caregiver (relative) of the patient
3) Patients with Good performance status 0-2 (ECOG PS)
Exclusion Criteria
Patients who are terminally ill and planned only for the best supportive care
Patients with impaired oral intake due to disease as in the oral cavity/head and neck/stomach/oesophagus with poor oral intake
Patients not planned for chemotherapy.
Professional patient attenders such as home nurses shall be excluded.

Name Time Method Descriptive outcomes detailing any changes made in the diet of the patient & caretaker <br/ ><br>The changes in diet shall be compared against widely accepted guidelines for the diet of cancer patients. <br/ ><br>The study shall also trace the beliefs or prejudice or bias of the patient’s regular diet. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: After the end of data collection
