After taking informed parental consent, all newborns with:
1.Gestational age more than or equal to 35 weeks according to new Ballard score.
2.Weight more than or equal to 2 Kg.
3.Receiving phototherapy as per AAP guidelines.
4.Normal serum calcium levels ( >7.5mg/dl) on admission
Neonates with :-
1.Gross Congenital anomalies
2.Birth asphyxia and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy
3.Serum bilirubin requiring exchange transfusion as per AAP guidelines 2004
4.Maternal diabetes mellitus
5.Maternal intake of anticonvulsants
