Inclusion Criteria

  • •ASA I\-III patients of age \> 18years, undergoing LR shunt surgery will be enrolled in the study

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patient refusal
  • •Age \< 18 yrs
  • •Emergency surgery,
  • •Known hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics
  • •Chronic pain conditions
  • •History of drug abuse
  • •Inability to understand VAS or PCA functioning
  • •Severe renal or liver dysfunction
  • •Morbid obesity
