Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) I to III scheduled for elective surgical procedure under general anaesthesia requiring tracheal intubation.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients with cervical spine pathology, facial and tongue anomalies or any other airway anomaly, restricted mouth opening ( \<2\.5cm), those who were previously tracheostomised, pregnant women, edentulous and who refuse to participate in the study.
