Patients eligible for consent from the age of 18
Patient consent
ASA classification I-III, without neurological deficits in terms of vigilant and language comprehension
Exclusion Criteria
Rejection by the patient
Previous operations on the stomach and distal esophagus

Distribution of the Perlas grades (grade 0 = empty, grade 1 = little fluid, grade 2 = lots of fluid) and stomach with solid contents<br><br>2. the sonographically measured preoperative stomach volume depending on the time and type of the last food and liquid consumed (preoperatively fasted yes vs. no); 1.5 ml / kg body weight (KG) is the limit, i.e. <1.5 ml / kg body weight = fasting,> 1.5 ml / kg = not fasting<br><br>Part 2<br><br>In the subsequent analysis (non-diabetes vs. diabetes)<br><br>1.
