ESRD patients who receiving regular hemodialysis treatment
American Society of Anesthesiologist Physical Status (ASA) Classification III
Body Mass Index (BMI) <40 kg/m2
Undergoing elective surgery
Abnormal anatomy of the upper gastrointestinal tract eg. tracheoesophageal fistula, esophageal atresia, esophageal duplications or hiatal hernia
Previous esophagus, stomach and upper abdomen surgery eg. gastric bypass, esophagectomy or gastrectomy
Gastrointestinal tract obstruction eg. gastric outlet obstruction or duodenal obstruction
Intraabdominal infection or inflammation eg. cholangitis, cholecystitis or pancreatitis
During total parenteral nutrition feeding
