简要总结

The study is a randomized clinical trial comparing hop stabilization training and plyometric training for individuals with chronic ankle instability (CAI). CAI is a common condition after repeated ankle sprains, leading to pain, weakness, poor balance, and a high risk of re-injury.The trial involves 36 participants (18 per group), aged 18–30, divided into two groups: one receiving hop stabilization training and the other plyometric training for 6 weeks (3 sessions per week)Hop stabilization training emphasizes controlled landings and postural control.

Plyometric training focuses on explosive movements to improve proprioception and neuromuscular control.

Outcome measures include the Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool (CAIT), Star Excursion Balance Test (SEBT), and Joint Position Sense (JPS) test. Data will be analyzed using statistical tests (Paired t-test, Independent t-test, or non-parametric equivalents). The primary objective is to compare the effectiveness of the two training methods on balance and proprioception. The hypothesis is that one training type may yield significantly better improvements than the other. The study expects to contribute to evidence-based rehabilitation strategies for CAI, helping reduce recurrence and improve functional performance.
