Women undergoing Cesarean section having one or more of the following high risk factors will be enrolled â??
Multiple pregnancy
Polyhydramnios
foetal macrosomia(more than 4 kg)
prolonged / obstructed labor( as per standard guideline after partographic monitoring)
H/O PPH in previous delivery
Obese patient (BMI >30)
Grand multipara
APH
Anaemic women (Hb less than 10gm/dl.)
Any contraindications for the use of misoprostol and oxytocin such as known hypersensitivity, asthma, epilepsy ,Cardiovascular, hepatic, haematological disorder,Temperature >38ï?°C
