A)For Cases:
1. Males or females aged >=18 years.
2. Patient having any one of the following CAD with at least 50 percent occlusion of the lumen of one or more coronary arteries, as evidenced by coronary angiography, IVUS, or other methods.i.Acute coronary syndrome (STEMI / NSTEMI/ Unstable angina)ii.Chronic stable angina.
3. Patient willing to give written informed consent.
B)For Controls:
1. Normal and healthy individual of either gender between 18 to 65 years, both inclusive.
2. No history of major illness in the past 6 months and should not be taking any kind of medication at least 4 weeks prior to participation in the trial.
3.The volunteer willing to abide by trial procedures and give written informed consent
A)For Cases:
1.Any medical or psychiatric condition which in the opinion of the investigator makes the patient an unsuitable candidate for the study
2. The participant in any other investigational study in last 4 weeks
3. History of alcohol or substance abuse within the past year
For Controls:
1. Clinically significant haematological and biochemical parameters as assessed by the investigator
2. Pregnant and lactating women.
3. Volunteers having signs and symptoms of AIDS and/or advanced Hepatitis B infection.
