Inclusion Criteria
Asphyxia during birth AND
Umbilical matter pH = 7.1 and/or Base excess = -12 mmol/l
AND
Gestational age = 36 completed weeks of pregnancy
UND
Admission to intensiv care unit within age < 6 Hours of life
Exclusion Criteria
diagnosis perinatal asphyxia not fullfilled, patient died, missing informations about the patient, missing contact datails from the parents

Name Time Method aim of the study is to evaluate aspects of child development and possible parental stress using a questionnaire based on items of the ages&stages questionnaire (ASQ-3) and the Eltern Belastungs Inventar (EBI)
