Inclusion Criteria

patients: pregnant before 20 weeks gestation, tetralogy of Fallot
controls: pregnant before 20 weeks gestation

Exclusion Criteria

Patients:
- Multiple gestation
- Essential hypertension with or without proteinuria
- History of organ transplantation
- Concomitant disease
- HELLP syndrome
- Thrombocytopenia
- Non hypertensive proteinuria and IUGR without associated maternal symptoms,
Controls:
- Chronic medication use
- Under specialist control for chronic disease
- Multiple gestation
- Abnormal echocardiogram
