简要总结
This observational cross sectional study aims to investigate the correlation between anthropometric measurements and performance test outcomes among male basketball players with specific comparison across playing positions guards forwards and centers. A total of 44 male basketball players aged 18 to 25 years with at least one year of training experience and national level participation will be recruited from Lovely Professional University Punjab . Anthropometric variables including height weight body mass index skinfold thickness body fat percentage and girth measurements will be assessed using standard procedures. Performance will be evaluated using a battery of tests including 30 meter sprint speed Modified T test agility vertical jump lower body power seated medicine ball throw upper body power dynamic Y balance test and sport specific tests such as dribbling and passing accuracy.
Pearson correlation analysis will be used to determine relationships between anthropometric variables and performance outcomes and to compare these correlations across playing positions. The findings are expected to provide insights into position specific physical and performance profiles aiding in talent identification individualized training program design and performance enhancement strategies in basketball players.
