Inclusion Criteria

The individuals desire to participate in the study
Being 60-80 years old
Definitive diagnosis of myocardial infarction (based on diagnosis of resident physician due to ECG changes, tests especially troponin positive and clinical signs) Definitive diagnosis of myocardial infarction (based on diagnosis of resident physician due to ECG changes, tests especially positive troponin and symptoms Clinical)
Be vigilant (be aware of time - place and person)
The patient has the ability to understand the content in Persian or the local dialect
Score more than 19 based on the DASS-21 stress questionnaire
Get a score of more than 22 based on the St. Mary's Hospital Sleep Quality Questionnaire

Exclusion Criteria

Emergence of emergency situations that require immediate intervention
Allergy to bergamot and mint essential oils
Occurrence of cognitive disorders during the study, including: panic and delirium
Death of the patient
Taking sleeping pills and antidepressants for 3 months before starting the study
The patient has known sleep disorders and pre-hospital stress
Have an addiction to drugs and alcohol
Has been through a lot of stress in the last 6 months
Impaired sense of smell
