(2) Undergoing non-cardiac surgery,
(3) Admitted to the surgical intensive care unit (SICU), and high dependency units (HDU).
(4) At a high risk of postoperative AKI.
High-risk patients referred to as patients having at least one of the following conditions:
(a)Preoperative comorbidities, including

vii.Lung disease, or liver disease;
(b) Major surgery, defined as surgery duration >=2h;
(c) Ongoing organ dysfunction, defined as the sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA) score >= 2 from one single organ system.
Patients with any of the following criteria will be excluded:
(1) Chronic kidney disease stage 5 or requiring long-term dialysis;

Name Time Method To know the association between hypoproteinaemia at admission and Acute Kidney Injury in high risky patients whoever is scheduled for elective major non-cardiac and non-renal major surgery.Timepoint: with in 7 days after surgery
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To know the â??hypoproteinaemia prevalenceâ?? in high risky patients whoever is scheduled for elective major non-cardiac and non-renal surgery.Timepoint: at the time of surgery;To know the â??short-term outcomeâ?? (28 days or up to discharge from hospital) of these patients and its association with pre-operative hypoproteinaemiaTimepoint: 28 days or at the time of discharge;To know the incidence of AKI in this cohort of surgical and high risky patients.Timepoint: with in first 7 days after surgery
