Inclusion Criteria
Patients undergoing surgical procedures under general anaesthesiarequiring laryngoscopy and intubation
Male and female patients
Age >18 years
ASA PS â?? I
MP score I & II
Exclusion Criteria
Anticipated difficult airway
Patients on rate controlling medications
Duration of laryngoscopy >15sec,
More than one attempt at intubation
Use of bougie during intubation
Risk of aspiration (full stomach, GERD, hiatus hernia, pregnancy)
Emergency surgery
H/o allergy to test drugs
