Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.adult patient with ASA 1 and 2 class
  • 2\.patients between the age group 18\-55 years old, of either gender
  • 3\.patients undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.All emergency surgeries
  • 2\.ASA class 3 and 4
  • 3\.Paediatric population
  • 4\.pregnant individuals
  • 5\.known history of allergy to propofol or HES
  • 6\.presence of severe left ventricular dysfucntion
  • 7\.hand or forearm veins not accessible
