Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients aged over 18 years indicated for myringotomy procedures

Exclusion Criteria

  • history of allergy to lidocaine , severe liver or kidney disease, arterioventricular or intraventricular heart block, Strokes\-Adam syndrome, Wolff\-Parkinson\-white syndrome, pregnancy, infections or inflammation of ear canal or pinna, conditions causing pain around the ear or any other areas
