- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1.Proportion of deep vein thrombosis detected by Color Doppler ultrasonogrphy To estimate the incidence of deep vein thrombosis in bedridden acute spinal cord injury patients on prophylaxis with elastic compression stockings, using radiological and pathological outcomesTimepoint: 1.In 1st week of admission.

2.In between 2nd and 3rd week of admission

3.In between 5th and 6th week of admission.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1. To correlate clinico-epidemiological characteristics of patient with acute spinal cord injury with deep vein thrombosis.

2. To find correlation between deep vein thrombosis and lesional characteristics.Timepoint: At the end of study
