Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • ASA grade I and II patients weighing 30\-70 kg posted for laparoscopic abdominal surgery under general anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. patients with gastro oesophageal reflux disease or obstructive sleep apnoea
  • 2\. preoperative sore throat or URTI since last 10 days
  • 3\. mouth opening \<2\.5 cm or anticipated difficult airway
  • 4\. previous head and neck surgery or history of radiotherapy
  • 5\. any facial, laryngeal or pharyngeal anatomical problem
