Inclusion Criteria
ASA grade I and II patients weighing 30-70 kg posted for laparoscopic abdominal surgery under general anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
1. patients with gastro oesophageal reflux disease or obstructive sleep apnoea
2. preoperative sore throat or URTI since last 10 days
3. mouth opening <2.5 cm or anticipated difficult airway
4. previous head and neck surgery or history of radiotherapy
5. any facial, laryngeal or pharyngeal anatomical problem
