Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •ASA class 1 \& 2 patients undergoing elective gynecological laparoscopic surgery (duration 30min to 2 hours).

Exclusion Criteria

  • •i.Any pathology of the neck, upper respiratory tract or upper alimentary tract.
  • •ii.Predicted difficult airway.
  • •iii.A body mass index \>35 kg/m2\.
  • •iv.Patients with history of obstructive sleep apnoea.
  • •v.History of lung diseases.
  • •vi.Potentially full stomach patients or history of oesophageal reflux.
