Inclusion Criteria
ASA class 1 & 2 patients undergoing elective gynecological laparoscopic surgery (duration 30min to 2 hours).
Exclusion Criteria
i.Any pathology of the neck, upper respiratory tract or upper alimentary tract.
ii.Predicted difficult airway.
iii.A body mass index >35 kg/m2.
iv.Patients with history of obstructive sleep apnoea.
v.History of lung diseases.
vi.Potentially full stomach patients or history of oesophageal reflux.
