Patients miss their regular medical appointments; in order to prevent complications, it is essential to understand the patient factors associated with being lost to follow up for treatment regimen. Understanding the viewpoint of healthcare providers regarding the barriers and challenges that patient face when following up will also help to determine the overall burden of lost to follow up on medical care and treatment.
