Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Aged 6\-12 years
  • 2\. Having primary teeth with pre shedding mobility
  • 3\. Teeth that are healthy and caries free
  • Mothers having:
  • 1\. Lifetime diagnosis of psychiatric disorders
  • 2\. Maternal depression during gestation
  • 3\. Lack of social support during pregnancy and delivery
  • Control group
  • Children with:
  • 1\. Healthy, caries free teeth

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Having poor oral hygiene i.e., presence of carious teeth
  • 2\. Premature birth
  • 3\. Undergone neonatal intensive care immediately after birth
  • Mothers with a history of:
  • 1\. Alcohol consumption during pregnancy
  • 2\. Consumption of drugs like antispasmodics during pregnancy
  • 3\. Underlying systemic diseases like diabetes
  • Control group
  • Children with
  • 1\. Known systemic illness
