Inclusion Criteria
Inclusion criteria were all the hospitalized patients older than 18 years of age who were admitted in urology, intensive care, cardiac care, surgery, and neurology departments who required urinary cat
Exclusion Criteria
Exclusion criteria were positive urinary culture at the time of urinary catheterization, prior antibiotic consumption or history of urology operation before or during the study.
