Inclusion Criteria

Korean children of American Society of Anesthesiology physical status I or II, aged from two to twelve years old scheduled for surgery requiring general anesthesia were consecutively enrolled between January 2008 and March 2010.

Exclusion Criteria

Exclusion criteria were children with neurologic abnormalities, psychological disorders, or developmental delay.
