Inclusion Criteria

Scheduled or unscheduled cesarean delivery of all age groups and partiy

Singleton or twin gestation

Exclusion Criteria

Severe medical and surgical complications

History of allergy to tranexamic acid

History of thrombi-embolic disorders.

Antenatal complications like, abnormal placenta

placenta-previa, placenta abruption, adherent placenta, severe preeclampsia, Multiple pregnancies, macrosomia, polyhydramnios,

Fibroid uterus or gynecological disorders complicating pregnancy.
