入排标准
入选标准
- •Patients diagnosed as diabetics as per American Diabetes Association (ADA) criteria.
- •Adult patients (age group 30-65 years)undergoing abdominal dual energy CT for pathologies not related to pancreas or without any systemic or chronic disease other than diabetes.
排除标准
- •Patients with pancreatic diseases such inflammation, cysts or tumours.
- •Patients with acute complications of diabetes such as diabetic ketoacidosis, hypertonic coma or lactic acidosis etc.
- •Patients who are on steroids.
- •Pregnant and lactating women since they cannot undergo DECT examination.
- •Patients in whom the area of interest in the region of pancreas cannot be delineated well using DECT images
- •Participants who have received previous radiation therapy or surgery to the pancreas region.
