Overview
Brief Summary
Safety of observation using the new endoscopy system was comparable with safety of observation using conventional endoscopy systems. Our results suggest that loss of the visible submucosal vascular pattern observed using the new endoscopic system may be correlated with clinical activity.

Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •A person who have a definite diagnosis of ulcerative colitis with Mayo endoscopic score (MES) 1 or over.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\)Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- •2\)Patients who have a history of psychosomatic disorders
- •3\)Patients whom investigators considered inappropriate to participate in this study
