Skeletal and dental class II malocclusion due to retrognathic mandible
Vertical â?? growth pattern (if SN-Go-Gn is more than 35â?°)
Horizontal growth pattern (if SN-Go-Gn is less than 32â?°)
Patients between the age of 12-16years (CVMI stage 3, 4 and 5 )
Minimum crowding in the upper and lower dental arches.
Upright mandibular central incisors.
Those with extracted or congenitally missing permanent teeth
Presence of active periodontal or gingival disease
Mentally challenged patients
Patients with any known systemic disease
