Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. All consenting patients planned for elective lower abdomen, pelvic and lower limb surgeries under spinal anaesthesia
  • 2\. Age 50 years and above
  • 3\. ASA grade I and II

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patients with known allergy to local anaesthetic drug
  • 2\. Patients with coagulopathies
  • 3\. Signs of infection at site of injection
  • 4\. Patients with previous spinal surgeries
  • 5\. Patient refusal
  • 6\. Neurological disorder or deficit
