Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • age 50 years and above
  • consented patients scheduled for elective lower abdominal ,pelvic , lower limb surgeries

Exclusion Criteria

  • below 50 yrs
  • contraindication to spinal anesthesiaallergy to local anesthetic
  • coagulopathy
  • local site infection
  • indeterminate neurologic disease
