Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Age over 18 years.
- •2\.Patients presenting with first ever ischemic stroke causing aphasia (mixed expressive and receptive).
- •3\.A duration of 3 months to 1 year from onset of stroke.
- •4\.Mild to moderate aphasia according to Western aphasia battery scale (score \>50\).
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Previous ischemic stroke or hemorrhagic stroke.
- •2\.Contraindications to tDCS as: a history of epilepsy, intracranial surgeries, skull defects or pregnant females.
- •3\. Scoring 14 or more out of 30 in Stroke Aphasia Depression Questionnaire 10\.
