Inclusion Criteria

1. Patients of either sex

2. Patients in the age group of 18-60 years

3. Patients of ASA physical Status I & II

4.Patients who are oriented to give consent

5. Patients undergoing elective surgeries in and around knee under sub arachnoid block

Exclusion Criteria

1. Patientâ??s refusal for the procedure

2. Patients with significant coagulopathies and other contra-indications for regional anaesthesia.

3. Patients with pre-existing significant systemic diseases.

4. Patients with psychiatric history.

5. Patient allergic to amide local anesthetics.

6. Infection of the skin at the injection site.
