Inclusion Criteria
Korean adults aged 25 - 65
Cholesterol, LDL = 120 mg/dL (= 3.1 mmol/L)
Body Mass Index = 23 kg/m2
Exclusion Criteria
current smokers,
diabetic patients,
individuals who take cholesterol-lowering or blood pressure medications,
individuals with regular use of pre- or probiotics and antibiotics in the past 6 months
