Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •MALE AND FEMALE NEONATES WITH,
- •1\.30 TO 37 WEEKS OF GESTATION ADMITTED TO NICU WITH DIAGNOSIS OF RDS OR PNEUMONIA.
- •2\.ON O2 THERAPY.
- •3\.NO MAJOR AIRWAY INTERVENTIONS LIKE MANUAL HYPERINFLATION OR BRONCHIAL LAVAGE PERFORMED IN PREVIOUS 12 HOURS.
- •4\.HAEMODYNAMICALLY STABLE.
- •5\.WRITTEN INFORMED CONSENT FROM PARENTS.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.NEONATES WITH RESPIRATORY AND CARDIAC CONGENITAL ANOMALIES .
- •2\.NEONATES WITH SEIZURES.
- •3\.MECHANICALLY VENTILATED NEONATES.
- •4\.ACUTE STAGE OF RESPIRATORY DISTRESS SYNDROME.
- •5\.NEONATES WHO UNDERWENT SURGICAL PROCEDURES.
- •6\.NEONATES WITH GENETIC SYNDROMES.
