Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •patients who have demonstrated, at a previous visit, a satisfactory pupil dilation ( \>6mm) with topical mydriatic therapy.
  • •All patients aged 40 to 70 years with senile cataract undergoing uncomplicated phacoemulsification surgery and willing to give written and informed consent for the study.
  • •Uncomplicated Cataract
  • •Cooperative patients

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients having
  • •Corneal pathology
  • •Pupillary disorders
  • •Retinal pathology
  • •Increased intraocular pressure
  • •p/h/o Psychiatric illness
  • •uncontrolled Hypertension
  • •h/o hypersensitivity to amide group of drugs
  • •h/o ocular surgery
  • •Pregnant patients
