In young healthy adults, following a low glycaemic index diet resulted in lower average daylong glycaemia compared with a macronutrient matched high glycaemic index diet. The differenced in postprandial glycaemia were more pronounced during breakfast and snack time.

入选标准
- •1. Aged between 18 – 40 years
- •2. Body mass index between 18.5 – 23 kg/m2
- •3. Non-smoking
- •4. Non-regular alcohol drinker
- •5. Generally healthy with no chronic disease (including type 2 diabetes)
- •6. No skin sensitivity issues
- •7. Able to wear the subcutaneous CGMS sensor for 14 days
- •8. Able to receive, store and reheat the study meals according to the instructions
- •9. No special dietary requirement including vegetarianism and veganism
- •10. Ownership of a smartphone with camera function
排除标准
- •1. Doctor’s diagnosis of any form of impaired glucose tolerance
- •2. Doctor’s diagnosis of any chronic diseases
- •3. Individuals with impaired immunity
- •4. Regularly taking any form of medication (except oral contraceptives)
- •5. Women who are pregnant or planning to be pregnant during the study
