1.Patients having signs and symptoms of immature senile cataract described as per ayurvedic and contemporary texts.
2.Patients having cataract aged 40-60 years irrespective of sex, caste, religion.
3.Patients willing to undergo ayurvedic treatment.
4.Patients having visual acuity not less than 6/60 Snellen chart/Log MAR
1.Patient not able to participate in the clinical trial.
2.Patient on local and systemic steroid medication.
3.Traumatic cataract and congenital cataract.
4.Patient having mature and hyper-mature senile cataract.
5.Patients suffering from inflammatory and infectious disease of eyeball and its appendages.
6.Patients having other systemic diseases or metabolic disorders such as uncontrolled diabetic mellitus, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa and any other illness necessitating long term treatment or under any kind of immunosuppressive therapy.
7.Patient is under any kind of cataract inducing medications like corticosteroids, phenothiazines and miotics drugs etc.
8.History of any surgical intervention to eye
