入选标准
- •Inclusion criteria of the study includes patients of both gender belonging to both rural and urban regions, with age being 18 years and above with following features,
- •1. Acute febrile illness with clinical suspicion of dengue fever
- •2. Seropositive for dengue fever, either NS1 antigen or IgM antibody
排除标准
- •Following is the exclusion criteria for the study;
- •1. Patients with known conditions that can cause electrolyte disturbances
- •2. Patients with preexisting renal and hepatic diseases
- •3. Patients who received electrolyte supplementation prior to sodium estimation
- •4. Patients on diuretics
- •5. Patients with dual infections
