Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Inclusion criteria were as follows; 1\) continuous use of methamphetamine at least during a period of 2 years; 2\) constant methamphetamine use of at least 0\.5 g/day using one of two methods of smoking

Exclusion Criteria

  • Exclusion criteria were as follows: 1\) severe neurological diseases, inflammation, skin ulcers or sores in the ears; 2\) co\-morbid psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia or psychomotor restlessness that prevents from sitting for 40 minutes; 3\) simultaneous use of other stimulants similar to methamphetamine; 4\) the risk of tetanus (20\), head and neck cancer, catching, Osteoradionecrosis (FB 70\.6, ICD\-11 Revision) or the existence a tumor in the mastication muscles (21\) due to the existence of common symptoms with acquired of Trismus.
