1)Age range of 9 to 14 years irrespective of gender.
2)Patients in CVMI stage CS3 and CS4.
3)Class II division 1 malocclusion cases with crowding <6mm in lower arch.
4)Overjet more than 5mm and less than 10mm.
5)Molar relationship at least a half unit Angle Class II.
6)Average facial growth pattern with FMA not exceeding 28°.
7)Patients with mandibular retrognathism and positive VTO.
8)Patients with no previous orthodontic treatment.
9)Patients with healthy periodontium with no gingival inflammation.
10)Patients without significant medical history.

11)Patients with positive informed consent.
1) Patient with vertical growth pattern.
2) Patients having Bolton’s discrepancy.
3) Patients with poor compliance.
4) Patients with TMD problems.
4) Patients with poor oral hygiene.
5) Patients with dentofacial deformities and/or
syndromes.
6) Patients requiring pre-functional
orthodontic treatment.
