Inclusion Criteria

The subjects shall be recruited after a failed primary inferior alveolar nerve block injection and in good health, and none will be taking any medication that would alter pain perception, as determined by oral questioning and written questionnaire.

Exclusion Criteria

Pregnant patients, allergeic to any content of local anesthesia, unable to understand pain scales, history of medications for pain control

Primary Outcome Measures

Success will be defined as no pain or weak/mild pain during endodontic access preparation and instrumentationTimepoint: The success/failure shall be assessed during the treatment. The clinician shall start the root canal procedure after giving intraligamentary injection and if patient experience moderate to severe pain during the treatment the treatment shall be considered as failure.
Secondary Outcome Measures

Injection painTimepoint: The clinician shall evaluate the pain during the intraligamentary injection. The assessment shall take place just after the injections.
