- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of the product of urinary TIMP-2 and IGFBP-7 in predicting the development of AKI in trauma patients admitted to the ICU.Timepoint: 0 and 24 hours post ICU admission
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1.To identify the relationship of renal injury markers TIMP-2 and IGFBP-7 with the need of RRT in trauma patients admitted in the ICU.

2.To identify the level of TIMP, IGF which predicts the development of AKI and its severity

3.To assess the mortality and requirement of renal replacement in these patients after 3 months of admission to ICU

4.To assess the risk factors for development of AKI in patients admitted with trauma to the critical care unit

Timepoint: 0 and 24hours post ICU admission
