Inclusion Criteria

- elective obstetric and gynecologic surgery
- age > 18 yrs
- if pregnant --> only term singleton

Exclusion Criteria

- emergency obstetric and gynecologic surgery
- high risk for PPH (abnormal placentation เช่น placenta previa, placenta adherent
and abruptio placenta), uterine overdistension (multifetal pregnancy, polyhydramnios and foetal macrosomia), grand multiparity, having history of PPH, prolong labour, pregnancy with uterine fibroid and receiving tocolytic drugs)
