Uncomplicated ventral hernias –

a.Umbilical hernia,

b.Para umbilical hernia,

c.Hypogastric hernia,

d.Epigastric hernia

e.Incisional hernia.

Exclusion Criteria

1.Complicated hernia (obstruction and strangulation),

2.Groin hernias (inguinal, femoral hernia)

3.Recurrent ventral hernia,

4.Age <18 years,

5.Divarication of recti,

6.Ventral hernia with loss of domain,

7.Pregnancy.
