Inclusion Criteria
Healthy patients, surgical risk ASA I; requiring extraction of a single uniradicualar tooth for posterior placement of osseointegrated implant; without periapical lesion; or periodontal disease; and preserved alveolus with 5 wall after the surgical procedure of tooth extraction.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with incompatible age established by the study; patients with systemic diseases; smoking patients; patients with periodontal disease or periapical lesion; and patients who after the exodontia procedure did not present the alveolus preserved with 5 walls.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Difference of the linear measurements of the dental alveolus in the act of the tooth extraction (fresh socket) and after 4 months of alveolar healing. The level of alveolar remodeling was measured in percentage after 4 months of the tooth extraction.;It was observed smaller differences of the linear measurements of the alveolus in the periods of the fresh alveolus and after 4 months of alveolar repair in the biomaterial group. These differences of the linear measurements were converted into percentage and it was possible to observe that the biomaterial preserves the level of alveolar remodeling 4 months after the tooth extraction procedure.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The level of remodeling in percentage was measured by linear measures in millimeters at the initial period and after 4 months of alveolar healing.;A lower level of alveolar bone remodeling was observed when the biomaterial was grafted inside the alveolus in comparison to the control group.
