Inclusion Criteria
Patients clinically found to have retraction pocket of the pars tensa with the fundus of the retraction pocket visible
Exclusion Criteria
1.Chronic Otitis Media (Active mucosal, active squamosal type)
2.Congenital cholesteatoma
3.Revision ear surgery
4.COM with complications
5.Frank cholesteatoma
6.Patients with any chronic debilitating illness
