Inclusion Criteria
1. Health care worker (HCW) who has worked and provided direct patient care in the Medicine wards
2. Agree to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
1. HCW who was allergic to alcohol-based handrub
2. HCW who had active skin lesion on hand and wrist
3. HCW who had used antibiotics at the time of the study
4. HCW who had no compliance with the hand hygiene techniques
5. HCW who cannot practice both hand hygiene techniques within 2 weeks
