Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Children \= 6 years who need continuous measurement of body core temperature during general anaesthesia.
  • •2\. Informed consent of parents / legal custodian

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Parental refusal
  • •2\. Premature infant \<37 gestational weeks
  • •3\. Surgical procedures in which the positioning of a temperature probe on the lateral forehead is not possible (e.g. some neurosurgical procedures)
