入选标准
- •Patientâ??s undergoing elective surgery under spinal anaesthesia and with valid consent
- •ASA-1 and 2
- •Age 18-65 yrs
- •Height â?? 140- 180cms
- •Lower limb surgeries
- •Lower abdominal surgeries
排除标准
- •Patient refusal
- •ASA- 3 & 4
- •Age < 18yrs & > 65yrs
- •Drug allergy
- •Compromised cardio- respiratory functions
- •Renal or hepatic disease
- •Thyroid disorders
- •Psychiatric disorder
- •Severe diabetes or autonomic neuropathies
- •Known history of substance or alcohol abuse
- •Pregnant patients
- •Obese (body mass index >30kg/m2)
- •Contraindications to spinal anaesthesia
- •Patients having visual analogue scale (VAS) >6 intra-operatively and were offered general anaesthesia
